Keith has a demonstrated history of working in the public sector, representing municipalities in all areas of municipal law for almost 15 years. As a municipal law attorney, Keith has assisted local governments in public nuisance and building code enforcement, labor and disciplinary actions, complex federal civil rights defensive litigation, eminent domain proceedings, local sales and use tax enforcement, municipal prosecutions, and general representation of home rule and statutory towns and cities, counseling on a myriad of legal issues related to land use, annexation, zoning, public employment matters, law enforcement, tort liability, governmental immunity, open meetings, open records, public works projects, public construction contracting, and constitutional law. Keith is particularly passionate about the protection and promotion of free speech under the First Amendment, providing guidance to local governments and elected officials on compliance with First Amendment protections. Keith is an avid mountain biker who loves spending time outdoors with his family, teaching them about all Colorado has to offer and the importance of environmental sustainability.
